Thousands of supporters from the various Secondary Schools on the island converged on Carnival City (the Pottersville Savannah) to witness the Miss Teen Dominica 2010. Out of five (5) contestants, the 15 year Colette Ambo, sponsored by Bull’s Eye Pharmacy representing the Convent High School, captured the prestigious title of Miss Teen 2010. This is the second year in a row that the Convent High School has won the title.

In what can be described as a tough competition, 13 year old Rochelle James of the St. Martin’s Secondary School, who was sponsored by New India Assurance, placed second with Melissa Morgan of Castle Bruce Secondary School sponsored by DOMLEC came in third.
The other contestants were Ladisha Murrain, who was sponsored by Raffoul’s Food Court from the Dominica Grammar School and Jacqueline Breezy sponsored by LIME from the Isaiah Thomas Secondary School.
The award for Miss Amity went to Melissa Morgan, while Ladisha Murrain secured the award for Best Response to the question asked. Colette Ambo got the awards for Best Speech and Best Evening Wear while Rochelle James walked away with the awards for Best Performing Talent, Miss Photogenic and Best in Spectacular Wear.
