The Government Information Service (GIS) is the
public relations and information arm of government. Its main goals
are:
- To disseminate information on all government departments.
- To inform the
general public at home and overseas, of the government’s plans, policies,
programmes and activities.
- To manage the corporate identify and the image of government.
It achieves its goals by means of various programmes and activities in radio,
television and print production as well as other public relations and information
services.

OUR MISSION
The Government Information Service is the link between government and
the public in Dominica and abroad. GIS promotes and disseminates information
on the State and its affiliates, policies, plans and programmes through
print, radio and television and multi-media information service, upholding
the highest standard of practice.
VISION
The Government Information Service seeks to deliver professional, multi-media
information service and to become a public broadcasting entity.
